Cooperation between the Heart Institute and Sumy Regional Clinical Cardiology Dispensary has been going on for about 10 years and is expressed not only in on-site consultations of our specialists, but also in comprehensive support when there is a need for a collegial decision on difficult patients and operations.
Such a “Heart-team” worked today – Andriy Khokhlov, Maksym Rotar, Konstantin Boyko from the Heart Institute and Oleksandr Rusanov from the Sumy Dispensary took part in the remote consultation. The high-speed internet connection was provided via the Starlink terrestrial satellite station. As a result, a considered decision was made quickly, the patient underwent surgery and feels well.
