Conference with International Participation “The Role of Laboratory Research in Modern Cardiac Surgery and Cardiology” Held at the Heart Institute
November 28, 2019, at the Heart Institute, a Scientific and practical conference with international participation “The role of laboratory research in modern cardiac surgery and cardiology” was held. The main organizer of the event was the Clinical and Diagnostic Laboratory of the Heart Institute, headed by the Head of the lab Natalia Korotchuk.
The conference was attended by about 200 specialists in the fields of laboratory research, cardiac surgery, and cardiology.
The special guest and speaker of the conference was Dr. Piotr Rozentryt – Professor at the Silesian Center for Heart Diseases, Head of the Heart Failure Group, Coordinator of the Laboratory of Neuroradiology, Member of the Polish Cardiology Society and the European Society of Cardiology. As part of the Conference, Professor Rosentrit held a satellite symposium that highlighted the issues of diagnosis in acute coronary syndrome and heart failure.
Professor Oleg Loskutov, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the P. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education spoke about “The role of clinical and laboratory data in the work of an anesthesiologist”.
Doctor Herakli Jaliashvili from the department of global support of Radiometer Medical (Denmark) made a report “Urgent diagnostics”.
These and other interesting reports aroused great interest and lively discussion in the audience.
