«Kalangos Foundation» is a Swiss non-profit organization aiming at assisting children in developing countries suffering from cardiac diseases. The mission of the foundation is to make the screening of children suffering from cardiac diseases, to treat them in cardiac facilities and to set up educational networks in order to promote medical education and training in cardiology and cardiac surgery. Since its creation in 2000 up to now, “Kalangos Foundation” has treated more than 17.000 children in 25 developing countries and trained more than 100 health professionals of these countries in cardiac surgery. |

The Charitable Foundation “Heart on the Palm” was founded on the initiative of specialists of the Heart Institute. The main purpose of the Fund is to carry out charitable activities in the interests of society and patients in the main direction – to promote the development of cardiac surgery. The Foundation promotes scientific research, elaboration of advanced developmental programs in the field of cardiac surgery, participates in the organization and holding of conferences, symposiums, scientific meetings and workshops aimed at the development of cardiac surgery as a science. |
