The first heart transplant in Poltava

Today, May 8, 2023, the first heart transplant took place in the city of Poltava! The recipient was a 49-year-old man from the Kyiv region with a frightening diagnosis of dilated cardiomyopathy. And now, his new heart is already working. We wish him a speedy recovery and good health!
We thank the entire team of the Heart Institute and colleagues from the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M. Sklifosovsky.
