Kidney Transplantation from Father to Son at the Heart Institute

Usually, we perceive a “parent-child” couple as parents and small children, but in fact, at any age, parents are ready for anything for the sake of the salvation and happiness of their children.
Victor’s father, without thinking twice, gave a kidney to his son, having made an instant decision when it became clear that it was needed here and now.

A transplant and a difficult postoperative period are in the past and Life is taking over afterward.
And now, the happy family goes home with normal function indicators of the transplanted kidney!
The transplant was carried out by Mikhailo Zagrychuk with an experienced team consisting of surgeons, nephrologists, a gastroenterologist, and a transplant coordinator.
