Heart Transplantation in Odesa in the 1st City Hospital
When stenting does not solve the problem, and even the installed cardioverter-defibrillator no longer helps to establish the correct heart rhythm, and the patient might be doomed – the team of transplant specialists of the Heart Institute gets down to brass tacks.
A successful transplant was conducted in Odesa to a 59-year-old man from the Odesa region with a long-standing diagnosis of ischemic cardiomyopathy.
As always, the prompt work of Prof. Borys Todurov and the team of the Heart Institute resulted in saved lives. We sincerely hope there will be more such excellent news in the future.
We sincerely thank the colleagues of the 1st City Hospital of Odesa for their cooperation!
We express gratitude to the donor and his relatives.
