Specialists of the Heart Institute — Ihor Mokryk, Sofiia Chaikovska, Ihor Stetsiuk, Mariia Hassanzade, and Yurii Kharenko — took part in the 12th Congress of Cardiothoracic Surgeons in Kraków, Poland.

Our colleagues presented reports on key topics in modern cardiac surgery:

• “David and Bentall Procedures: Comparison of Early and Long-Term Outcomes Using Propensity Score Matching” — Ihor Stetsiuk
• “Preoperative Echocardiographic Parameters as Predictors of Atrial Fibrillation After Aortic Valve Replacement in Patients with Aortic Regurgitation” — Mariia Hassanzade

The doctors shared their experience, presented their own research, and introduced innovative approaches to the treatment of complex cardiovascular pathologies.
This is not just science — it is proof that Ukrainian medicine speaks loudly and confidently on the international stage. Even in the most difficult times, our physicians continue to grow, learn, and share knowledge.
We sincerely thank our specialists for their professionalism, dedication, expertise, and the strength of heart with which they work every day — in the operating room, in patient care, and on scientific platforms.

Together, we are building the medicine of the future.
