Surgery to correct the ascending aortic aneurysm: Huge aortic aneurysm in a young man – 8 cm.
Our task: to replace the aortic valve and the ascending aorta – it’s just a time bomb that can explode at any time.
Bentall’s operation was planned: replacement of the aortic valve, replacement of the ascending aorta, reimplantation of the coronary arteries.
After analyzing the condition of the valve, we realized that we can do a valve-saving operation – the procedure of David.
The result is good – the valve holds, the heart work and does not bleed, thank God, usually during such operations there is quite a high bleeding.
