Election of the General Director of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine
On December 18, 2018, a significant event in the history of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine took place – 22 research fellows of the Institute elected the General Director of the clinic.
Among the four candidates, the voters unanimously voted for the founder of the Institute – Professor Borys Todurov.
In the conference hall of the Institute, the results of the election were announced, which the audience met with applause.
In his speech, Professor Todurov thanked everybody for the trust, promised a lot of fruitful work for the Institute’s staff and announced another, fifth implantation of the mechanical heart the next day!
Among those who congratulated Borys Todurov with the victory, there were numerous Anti-terrorist Operation’s combatants, for many of whom the famous cardiac surgeon was a life saver.
