First Liver Transplant at the Heart Institute
The long-awaited event, which both doctors and patients were waiting for, finally took place – for the first time, a liver transplant was performed at the Heart Institute.
This is a new advance in the development of the Heart Institute and Ukrainian transplantology itself. We are doing our best to increase the number of such operations in the future.

A woman from Poltava became a liver, kidney, and heart donor. We express our deepest condolences and gratitude to the donor’s family. Your humanity saved the lives of four seriously ill people.
